ATR attends the 6th Japan Airfinance Conference
The Japan Airfinance Conference is an annual networking and learning gathering for the aviation finance community.
Held in Tokyo on the 20th-21st April, the event welcomes visitors from all over the world who wish to get the latest developments and expertise on the typical Japanese aircraft financing solutions, which are a major source of highly competitive financing. Attendees will also be hoping to network with key players from the Japanese financial community.
Japan is a mature market, as it numbers more than a hundred regional aircraft, whose average age exceeds ten years. Yet it is a dynamic one since Japanese regional airlines are expected to renew and expand their regional fleet during the next years. They will indeed have to respond to increasing tourism activity within the country and the Japanese are known to be among the most demanding passengers, with a strong ecological awareness.
Offering the most fuel efficient and technologically advanced products, ATRs are an attractive option for this booming market. Japan Airlines' regional airline Japan Air Commuter has already bought eight ATR 42-600, which will enter into service on April 26th in Japan.
