Today ATR celebrates the delivery of the 1,000th ATR 72-600 to the Spanish airline Air Nostrum with hundreds of workers, foreign dignitaries and media in Toulouse Blagnac, France. The impressive celebration will be attended by many of the world leaders in aerospace, including the CEOs of the EADS and Finmeccanica groups, Louis Gallois and Giuseppe Orsi respectively.

This delivery was an important milestone for the company, one that's taken 30 years to reach.
