ATR has recently obtained the renewal of the ISO 9001 and EN 9100 certifications, delivered by BUREAU VERITAS in accordance with the International Aerospace Quality Group standards.

The ISO 9001 v 2008 certification, valid up to end July 2015, awards the high-quality standards and top-professional abilities of ATR, as industrial organization, in the fields of Design, Manufacturing, Sales Marketing and Customer Support of both the ATR 42 and ATR 72 models.

The EN 9100 certification, which specifically concerns the aeronautical domain, is also valid up to end July 2015 and further develops the Quality specifications of ISO 9001 in the above fields. EN 9100 requests additional specific commitments, mainly regarding project, risk and configuration managements, as well as control of works transmission. As appropriate to the organization and the product, the organization shall plan and manage product realization in a structured and controlled manner to meet requirements at acceptable risk, within resource and schedule constraints. The organization shall also establish, implement and maintain a process to plan and control the temporary or permanent transfer of work and to verify the conformity of the work to requirements.

ISO9001 and EN 9100 certifications highlight ATR’s compliance with the highest quality of organization and operational process standards.
